ChemProtect’s complete coating systems begin with various pretreatment processes for substrates including plastics, steel, stainless steel, magnesium and zinc based die castings. Resulting electroplated finishes include Plating on Plastic (POP), copper/nickel/chrome plating on bumpers and exterior automotive trim, and zinc and zinc alloy coating on bumpers and fasteners. ChemProtect’s environmentally friendly coatings include a precisely color matched UV protected, wear-resistant electrophoretic paint that can be augmented with nanoparticles to provide further wear-resistance and/or an antimicrobial surface.

ChemProtect provides in plant service by highly trained technicians which assures conformance to the latest automotive specifications including but not limited to nickel hardness and stress, CASS, torque tension, TOC requirements and exhaust gas testing. Our full service laboratory provides complete organic and inorganic analysis that includes HPLC, TOC, AA, accelerated and cyclic corrosion testing, and SEM. To ensure the highest performance of coating systems, soil testing and process engineering for specific cleaning applications are another service that ChemProtect provides.
